AREAS OF PRACTICE

Mr. Palecek served as the firm’s senior counsel specializing in litigation strategy and mediation and was a founding member of PMA Legal. A lawyer in San Diego for over 35 years, Mr. Palecek had extensive experience in the areas of real estate and business litigation having represented real estate developers, brokers, builders, contractors, subcontractors, home owners, HOAs, small business owners and professionals such as attorneys, doctors and dentists.

Committed to alternative dispute resolution as the first means of conflict resolution, Mr. Palecek led PMA’s mediation services. Mr. Palecek mediated dozens of cases with over a 97 percent success rate and served as a protem judge, arbitrator and mediator for the Superior Court of San Diego County and the San Diego Association of Realtors.

Over the years, Mr. Palecek represented hundreds of clients in the formation of their business. He brought extensive experience in the formation, dissolution and the transmutation of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships. He has assisted his business clients with the development of estate plans and the handling of delicate family matters.

Mr. Palecek held a California broker’s license and served as the owner and president of a real estate management and development company that has designed, developed and/or built projects in excess of 20 million dollars.

PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

Community service was extremely important to Mr. Palecek. He served as a member of Rotary International for over 20 years and has served as President and Assistant District Governor in the Escondido club. He was a proud member of the Coronado Rotary Club. Mr. Palecek has also been involved with Escondido Chamber of Commerce and Redevelopment Agency of Escondido. Mr. Palecek was committed to giving back to his community.
