Ms. Morrison dreamed of becoming a lawyer for as long as she can remember. Her parents knew from early on with her persistent questioning and analytical reasoning that she had a natural knack for the Law. It was no surprise that she chose to be an attorney.

She obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from University of San Diego School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Political Science, with Honors, from the University of San Diego. Ms. Morrison was admitted to practice in the State of California and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of California and the Central District of California.

Ms. Morrison is knowledgeable across a broad spectrum of estate planning, trusts, probate and business matters and is adept at strategizing with clients to make the most out of difficult situations. She has over 15 years of experience as an attorney and her clients’ success is her top priority. She is also committed to and serves on the Board of Directors for Free Flight, a non-profit corporation based in Del Mar, California. PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

In February 2011 Ms. Morrison and Ms. Palecek founded their practice, Palecek Morrison and Associates LLP. Ms. Morrison manages the practice in the areas of corporate and business law, construction and real estate law. She actively serves many of PMA LAW’s clients as outside general counsel. In doing so, Ms. Morrison counsels business owners of their rights and liabilities in various commercial settings. She is uniquely situated to allow her experience in resolving disputes assist her clients on the planning side by giving her clients the advantage in drafting their contracts and structuring their transactions.

She currently advises clients regarding business formation and determining the appropriate business structure for them such as: sole proprietorship, general partnership, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, or corporation. She continues to advise clients post-formation on an expansive scope of transactions - including operations management, contract negotiation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as real property purchases and commercial leases.

Assisting her clients Estate Planning and Probate clients is one of Ms. Morrison's top concerns. She has counseled clients and provided probate administration, probate litigation services, and managing probate matters as attorney for administrator or executor. The best way to avoid probate is by properly drafting a trust for her clients and emphasizing to her clients the importance of continuing to fund your trust. She has extensive experience in drafting comprehensive estate plans, utilizing complex trust planning provisions such as revocable living trusts, marital deduction trusts, bypass trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, charitable remainder trusts, mixed pot family trusts, and special needs trusts. She is skilled in drafting durable financial and medical powers of attorneys, advance health care directives, and all types of wills

PERSONAL ACTIVITIES

Ms. Morrison’s husband is a former Naval Officer and graduate of the United States Naval Academy which lends her to be a proud supporter of all military branches and aiding veterans whenever she can through her firm. Ms. Morrison stays active by running around after her three boys, taking them to the beach and playing lots of baseball.
